Environment Two -
Mini Forest

One of three Film Poses for Task Three for Modelling to Camera.

I chose this environment because of its colour. It uses an analogous colour harmony, which refers to three colours side-by-side on the colour wheel (brown, yellow, and green.) A fairly simple model, but easy to get wrong.

An interesting conversation to be had is how modelling is important to the Architecture, Games, and Animation Industries: important to recreate environments from a reference to accurately portray life. The Architecture Industry requires it for an accurate portrayal of a project before using resources and effort to create a planned environment, while Games and Animation use it to portry their story and styles.

Most of the environment was relatively easy to replicate, but the biggest issue I encountered was the two small bushes on the left side of the Forest. I couldn’t find a proper way to replicate the shape with their bumps, so I took two cubes and beveled and smoothened them. The shape still didn’t fit well, so I altered their vertices.
