Task Four: Bouncing Ball Animation (on the Spot - Bowling Ball)
This task was relatively similar to Task Three, so I wouldn’t have thought there to be much of a difference. In all honesty, it was fairly different due to the ball’s change in weight. The rubber ball bounce had a cartoon-type of exaggeration, and continued on for longer due to its counterpart being light and easily stretched.
The Bowling Ball did not have exaggeration because it is harder and heavier. The Bowling Ball does allow for some Squash & Stretch for believability to the bounce, but the animations came out completely different because it.
Principles of Animation Recognized: Squash & Stretch, Keys & Breakdown, Pose to Pose, Timing & Spacing & Easing, Slow In & Slow Out.
